First year cycling fashion show proves to be a success!

October 1, 2007 - Little Rock, AR

In front of a group of about seventy five cyclists and cycling enthusiasts, eleven active models showed off and demonstrated the latest - and hottest - in cycling and athletic apparel Saturday night. The first "Cycle-Chic" cycling fashion show was a success, and a good time seems to have been had by all who attended. Local press, including Sync Weekly and Soiree, took photos of many of the attendees.

The show started with a retro segment, featuring woolen Peugeot and Italian team jerseys and a few Tour de France jerseys. One lucky model donned the Giro de Italia jersey worn by Mario Cipolini. As the show got underway, the biggest audience response seemed to have been from the known cyclists in the community who were modeling the clothing. The latest fashion trends and technology were illustrated in the jerseys, shorts, jackets and pants, with an inclusion of triathlete gear for good measure.

The show ended with four models illustrating some of the brightest bike lights on the market. A last minute bidding war at the silent auction table made for an exciting conclusion to the evening. "Cycle-Chic" was at "Deep Ultra Lounge" in the Rivermarket district of Little Rock, Arkansas.
